What a Week

So the week began with school, gross. But got much better as it continued.

Wednesday was pie making day with my mother, and my boyfriend's stepsister wanted to help, and I think really enjoyed it. At 14, that is the last thing I would want to do on my break, but I was truly flattered. Cuong and I also went to see the movie Ninja Warriors, and it was a WASTE OF TIME. If you want to see about 5 million limbs cut off people, then by far go!, but if fake blood and detached limbs aren't your thing, I would suggest staying home. So of course Cuong thought it was great. :)

Thursday was of course Turkey Day. My family and boyfriend and grandmother crowded around the table and at a wonderful meal. I am totally a sucker for the holidays. If it involves long lines, and a hussle and bussle, I am always for it! Thursday evening/technically Friday morning we went to Allen Outlet Mall to join the mob of people swarming store for sales. We mainly just enjoyed the spirit of things and had a bite to eat.

Friday morning, after we got 4 hours of sleep, Cuong and I headed back out. OldNavy, NordstomsRack, and Walmart were all on the to do list. I couldn't pass up $5 fleeces! We also hit Petsmart because Hamlet deserves to benifite from black friday as well, and we got him a new doggy bed which he wanted nothing to do with.

And the weekend ended with great leftovers, amazing pies - with a few still in the fridge, and after 2 days of sleeping on the floor, Hamlet finally realized that his new doggybed was a better choice! YAY! He is so cute, and even matches the lamb wool on the inside of his bed! So cute! ahh, I adore him!

anyways, now back to school, again, gross.
It shall be over soon though.

Yay!

So, I will be doing Showboat at Lyric Stage in January! Which is wonderful because I auditioned for them in AUGUST, and they called me yesterday, November 19th. A long wait, but I did not expect it, so it made for a great day! yay!

Looking forward to a wonderful Thanksgiving week next week, and ready to get baking. That is my favorite part of the holiday because my mother and I always design a unique top crust for her amazing apple pies.

Yay for creativity!

Beginnings of... I'm not sure what.

So I have decided to start a blog. I'm not sure what I will write about, but I thought maybe it would be something I would like doing... we'll see.
I have also decided to start scrapbooking, which I know nothing about...but my good friend Susan has agreed to teach me the art of it all. She is amazing and makes such wonderful cards! I am very excited to get started, but after looking online today, I am sure that I really have no idea what I am to be doing, so hopefully I will be able to do something myself eventually.

-and they all lived happily ever after.
